Common sense begins with Life
We believe so strongly in the precious gift of human life that it informs and animates a worldview in which all life, from conception through natural death, from the strongest to the most vulnerable, the brightest to the simplest, the firm and the infirm, the most able to the weakest and most helpless among us, has dignity and meaning and worth.
It is through that lens we see and act on the issues of Life, Liberty, and Family, Economics, Government, and Security, as well as the willingness to confront the evil and violence that puts all life at risk.
Join the Common Sense Issues movement. We’re building a vast network of active citizens and equipping them with issue specific knowledge to help engage and influence opinion leaders and public officials. We employ a unique combination of today’s latest interactive technologies with creative, high leverage strategy and message, along with grassroots energy, to promote common sense ideas and solutions.
What is a common sense solution?
Beyond politics, beyond polarizing ideology, Americans are imbued with a core set of values which, when applied without bias, can point to life-affirming solutions:
Will it advance the value and dignity of life?
Will it aid or hinder the cause of liberty?
Is it right?
Is it honest?
Is it compassionate?
Is it transforming?
Will it endure?
What are CSI Issues?
We desire to advance awareness, involvement, and citizen action on the following:
LIFE ISSUES – Defending the whole of life from conception to natural death, and defining our humanity by how we apply respect for life to the handicapped, the helpless, and the least among us.
LIBERTY – Protecting our rights individually and corporately to Freedom of Speech and the free exercise of Religion as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution.
ECONOMICS – Promoting responsible action in cutting burdensome and unnecessary taxes, the reckless and often unaccountable spending which fuels more taxation, and bringing more transparency to the budgetary process.
NATURAL FAMILY – Defending the value and practicality of traditional marriage as the institution best suited for raising and nurturing children, for bringing economic stability to communities, and for properly civilizing young adults to the idea of public commitment over personal autonomy.
NATIONAL SECURITY – Preserving American sovereignty through secure borders and an ordered process of legal immigration, through the maintenance of a strong, well-trained, and well-equipped military, and through honoring publicly the noble calling of military service.
PERSONAL SECURITY – Defending the right of individual citizens to keep and bear arms in defense of their person, their property, and their Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.
CONFRONTING RADICAL ISLAM – Standing against the death culture embodied in militant radicalized Islam by educating citizens on the clear and present threat it poses to America and to all of Western Civilization.
