Kent (231 & 266) beat Gloucestershire (166 and 255) by 76 runs Kent moved to second in Division Two of the County Championship after a 76-run win against Gloucestershire. Needing five wickets to win on the final day at Beckenham, Azhar Mahmood and James Tredwell were the star men as Kent completed a win to put them just nine points behind the league leaders.

Somehow, these least-costly sources of emissions reduction must be discovered and induced to reduce emissions rather than emission reduction occurring where it is more expensive. In a well-functioning market where emission permits are traded freely, the permits will end up in the hands of firms for which it is cheaper to buy permits than to reduce emissions.

Perhaps we can establish commitment earlier on. At a chamber of trade meeting on Wednesday, traders discussed ideas for the event. They hoped to get schools involved with children singing carols.

Still needing 201 with five wickets down, Gloucestershire faced a daunting day, and it ended in expected defeat for them before lunch. Tredwell got the ball rolling by trapping Vikram Banerjee lbw for one, before Mahmood removed Steve Snell for eight by the same method and Gloucestershire slipped to 161-7.
